Gina Thompson has nearly 20 years of experience in the beauty industry. Her journey began as a makeup artist and she has furthered her career by blending her artistic talents with the exciting world of plastic surgery.

She has been an integral part of developing the skin care and Aesthetic programs for the Center for Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery over the past 11 years. Gina earned her certification in Medical Aesthetics and Paramedical Camouflage Therapy from the Advanced Aesthetics Institute in Salt Lake City, Utah. She also completed advanced studies in fashion photographic makeup from Complections International in Toronto, Canada. She is an active member of the SPSSCS (Society of Plastic Surgical Skin Care Specialists), AIW (American Independent Writers) and cofounder of MAP (the Medical and Aesthetic Professional Network).

At the Center for Plastic & Reconstructive surgery, Gina works closely with the practice’s plastic surgeons to establish pre- and post-surgical skin care protocols that can enhance the benefits of cosmetic surgery. She believes in combination therapies for optimal results and that healthy skin is possible at any age.

Her roles in the Aesthetic industry have included makeup artist, Medical Aesthetician, marketing coordinator, consultant, public speaker and newspaper columnist. Gina is truly passionate about today's ever-changing face of beauty.
