"Dena has been a true blessing for me. The first day I met her, I knew she was someone
I would always consider very special. During my treatment, I was healed physically
and emotionally. Her compassion and caring have helped me feel as good as I do today."
Dena Elliott is truly passionate about her work as a massage therapist, bringing
her experience, talent and compassion to all her clients.
Dena graduated from the Ann Arbor Institute of Massage Therapy and is certified
in neuromuscular therapy, myofascial therapy, Swedish massage, and sports massage.
She also has advanced training in post-operative massage and scar reduction. Specific
techniques help speed the healing process, reduce swelling, and restore pre-surgical
levels of function and mobility.
The mother of two athletic teenagers, Dena dedicates many evenings to Milan sports
programs. In addition to cheering on her sons, she works with other young athletes
to keep them at optimum levels of performance. Using massage and self-care education,
she strives to decrease injury rates and help young athletes develop healthy habits
for a lifetime. Dena is a member of the American Massage Therapy Association and
promotes the benefits of massage through volunteer work in domestic violence shelters
and local hospitals.
